The Life of Objects Under the Big Sky
Big Sky takes an object oriented approach to the topics covered. It zooms in and out from various vantage points in the problem space to identify objects of thought which at some scale of meaning can be abstracted as standalone "atomic" concepts. As these atomic concepts are identified they are added to the Big Sky universe of ideas. Within that universe they are put into play as objects in an ecology populated by knowledge units, perspective lens, thought tools: a ecosystem of evolving creatures with emerging characteristics. They are shaken up and poured into processes amenable to associative learning, interdisciplinary integration, knowledge engineering, semantic networking, animation, visualization and art.
